OUR STANDARD PROCEDURE...or RULES
I HAVE FOUND THAT WE REALLY NEED THEM
|
Rules, of course, can be changed but this is a brief outline of company procedures that apply unless we make a different written agreement. |
All work:
We will always listen to the homeowner/customer and do our best to meet their wants and needs.
We will submit a summery of the job and how we will charge for it in writing before we start.
The Job site will be left at least as clean as we found it.
All work will be done as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Customers will always be treated courtesy.
We will not blast loud music or use inappropriate language.
All debris will be removed from the job site before it is considered complete unless not included in contract..
Some invoices may include expenses anticipated for the coming week; these charges will be listed separately.
Invoices will be submitted weekly and paid the following work day.
Daily cost reports submitted the morning after requested (computer book keeping).
Final payment will be made on completion.
Unpaid Balances are subject to a 2% monthly charge plus the costs of collection including attorney’s fees.
Work performed a Cost-Plus basis:
All charges will reflect labor and Materials costs to Cameron Carpentry and Construction (CC&C)
A 30% charge for Overhead and Profit (P&O) will be included for all labor and all materials.
The P&O on materials for larger purchases will be negotiated when appropriate.
Jaenia Mikulka receives $30.00 for her labor .
All visits to the worksite are included as labor.
Sub-contractors and helpers will be paid based on the market value and their level of skill.
A detail record of all labor and materials purchased will be kept in the office of CC&C.
An account of all charges will be available on a day's notice
Jaenia's labor costs will include time spent getting to the job site, and all time spent on tasks related to the job.
Travel charges will be negotiated. This especially applies to jobs very far from our offices and on vacation home, second residence etc.
All workers will have 30 minute paid break every four hours
Labor costs will include time spent making drawings when requested.
Invoices will include the cost of laborers, materials and subcontractors hired and paid by CC&C including P&O.
Ø .
Work that is estimated:
Estimated jobs be charged as estimated plus any unforeseen tasks that generate extra costs when those tasks are necessary to complete the job.
CC&C will make every effort to delineate all work necessary to finish the job before starting.
CC&C will inform the homeowner of any extra work that becomes necessary before starting the extra work whenever possible
If the homeowner is unavailable and the schedule doesn't allow work stoppage extra labor and materials will be charged at the Cost-Plus rates
Any work not listed in writing is not included in the estimated price.
It is the homeowners responsibility to ascertain that the list includes all the tasks that they feel are included in the job.
We give free estimates. (the cost of the initial site visits is usually included in the price.)
The cost of repeated visits due to changes made by the customer will be negotiated.
Unpaid Balances are subject to a 2% monthly charge
plus the costs of collection including attorney’s fees.
